Job Description
Responsible for assembling mechanical components and equipment according to engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards. Conduct inspections and measurements to ensure product accuracy, identify and rectify defects, maintain a safe and organized work area, and support production activities to achieve operational efficiency and product quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble mechanical parts, pieces or products using a variety of tools and equipment.
- Read, interpret and follow basic engineering drawings, diagrams, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble module or equipment.
- Clean parts thoroughly before assembling.
- Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures.
- Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified.
- Review work activities with the supervisor.
- Verify dimensions and clearances of parts to ensure conformance to drawing specifications, using instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and height gauges.
- Rework and/or repair assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes.
- Maintain inventory of product in work stations.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Perform ad-hoc tasks as instructed by superior.
Requirements
- Minimum Certificate/ Diploma in Mechanical / Mechatronic Engineering.
- Able to work OT when needed.
- Self starter and with good self discipline.
